LCM 2500 Troubleshooting Tips

Here are a few troubleshooting tips for the Z-Flash LCM 2500 for GM incase you are running into anything during installation.


  1. If you have a Gas truck/SUV or Diesel Truck you need to have DIP Switch 4 set to ON
  2. Only change DIP Switch Settings when the Z-Flash is on with vehicle running
  3. The factory violet plug is the second plug in starting from the light blue plug
  4. Make sure to have drivers door open for at least 10 minutes prior to install or else this will trip a CEL
  5. If you still get a CEL, you can easily clear it by disconnecting the battery on your vehicle for 30 minutes
  6. For a more consistent flash pattern put DIP Switch #5 ON
