Z-Flash LCM 2500 Plugin Flasher For GM Install Guide


Before installing the Z-Flash LCM 2500 for GM, verify you have all the parts:


  1. Z-Flash Module
  2. Purple Harness
  3. Switch Cable 

Installation Guide


  1. Leave your vehicle off with the driver’s door OPEN for 10 minutes before installing the Z-Flash.
  2. Locate the Light Control Module (LCM) underneath the driver’s side dash. It will be the row of (5) different colored plugs
  3. Next, disconnect the factory Violet plug from the LCM and plug it into the female side of the Z-Flash harness. Then, plug the Male side of the Z-Flash harness into the LCM.

3a. The Violet Plug on the LCM will be the second plug in from the Light Blue plug


  1. Connect the Z-Flash module to the 22-pin connector

Now, start your truck, and the Z-Flash can be activated with the provided switch by holding it down for 3 seconds. You can also activate using the High Beam Lever by pulling it back for 5 seconds. 


Important Notes for the Z-Flash LCM 2500 for GM:


If your vehicle is Gas or Diesel, DIP Switch #4 will have to be ON. If your vehicle is an EV, keep DIP Switch #4 OFF.


Key Fob Activation is always available. On your Key Fob, Quickly Press Lock>Unlock>Lock>Unlock
