2022/23 Sierra & Silverado's - How Do I Know If I Need The LCM 2500?

The 2022 and 2023 GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado's are considered "Crossover Years" because GM put the LCM in some of these trucks while the others only have the BCM in it still.

If you have a 2022 or 2023 GMC Sierra or Chevy Silverado you'll need to do a visual inspection of under your driver side dash to know which Z-Flash you need.

In this guide, we'll tell you exactly what you need to look for.

We'll need to locate the BCM area of your truck. This is located on the bottom left of the driver side dash. To the left of the break and near the driver's door.

Once you look under there, you will see a row of different colored plugs like in the image below:

Your truck may already have both rows but some may only have one.

If you see 2 rows of different colored plugs you will need the Z-Flash LCM 2500 for GM

If you just see 1 row of 7 different colored plugs you will need the Z-Flash BCM for GM
