Z-Flash BCM for GM Activation Methods

The Z-Flash BCM for GM offers three different ways to activate. We are going to quickly go over them below:

Z-Flash Button

Every Z-Flash BCM for GM comes with the provided button. This plugs into the side of the Z-Flash where you see a white port.

To activate the Z-Flash the vehicle will need to be on/running and you'll want to hold the Button for 3 seconds to turn off and do the same to turn off.

High Beam Lever

A customer favorite is the High Beam Lever activation.

No switch required for this method. All you have to do is have the vehicle on/running and pull back on the High Beam Lever for 5 seconds.

To deactivate the Z-Flash with the High Beam Lever just pull back again for 3 seconds.

Hardwire Activation

If you prefer to activate the Z-Flash with your own controller or switch you can do that.

You will need to use the Blue 12V+ Input 1 wire that is coming out of the switch and wire that to your controller, upfitter switches, etc. It will need to be an on/off switch.

The hardwire method is completely optional when it comes to our Z-Flash modules.
