Z-Flash BCM for GM Install Guide


Verify you have all parts:


  1. Z-Flash Module
  2. 4-Plug Harness (White, Blue, Pink, Gray)
  3. Switch Cable

Installation Guide:



  1. The Body Control Module (BCM) is located under the driver’s side dash, featuring a row of (7) different colored plugs

  1. While the vehicle is OFF, disconnect each plug one by one. Color match our harness to what’s on the vehicle’s BCM. These plugs will only fit in one place and one way.

2a. Towards the front of the vehicle will be the Pink & Gray plugs

2b. Facing the rear of the vehicle will be the Blue & White plugs


  1. After installing the Z-Flash harness, connect the Z-Flash BCM unit to the 22-pin connector. 

  1. The Z-Flash can now be activated. You can use the button to activate by holding it for 3 seconds, or use the High Beam Lever by pulling it back for 5 seconds. Repeat this process to turn it off.

Important Notes:


Keep DIP Switch #6 OFF


The DIP Switches are live. Do not unplug the module to change, or else the changes will not take effect
