Z-Flash Software - Serial Read Timed Out Error Code

When using the Z-Flash software if you encounter this error on your screen after trying to save your custom pattern we have troubleshooting steps for you to try and fix it.

  1. Back out of the Configuration Screen
  2. Go to "UPDATE DEVICE"
  3. Once you are on this screen hit the "MANUAL" Tab on the top.

  1. Go to DEFUALT SETTINGS. This will factory reset the Z-Flash completely and should allow you to now save your Z-Flash patterns.

This applies to the Z-Flash OBD for Ford and Z-Flash OBD for Dodge/Jeep/RAM only.
