Headlights Not Flashing

The Z-Flash BCM for Ford offers the option to flash the Low and High Beam Headlights. In some cases, we can only flash one of the two on Ford vehicles.

Here is a guide on what to look for if your headlights are not flashing:

Turn Automatic Headlights Off

One of the reasons your headlights are not flashing is that you have your headlights on or they are set to automatic. This is a safety feature so your trucks headlights have priority over the Z-Flash especially when driving at night.

Verify DIP SWITCH Settings 1 & 2 Are Off

On the Z-Flash Module, DIP Switch 1 and 2 need to be OFF which enables the Low and High Beam Headlights to flash.

Verify these are OFF in case you do not see flashing headlights.

Only Low Beams Are Flashing

As mentioned previously we might only be able to get 1 of the Low Beams and High Beams to flash. It'll be up for you to decide which ones you prefer.

If your Low Beams are only flashing we can check the following settings:

Put on Pattern 6 - this will allow High Beams to flash if the other patterns are not making them flash.

Put on DIP SWITCH #4 - having the Halogen setting ON could allow for both Low and Highs to flash together.

If you prefer the High Beams to flash over the Low Beams simply turn DIP Switch #2 ON and have #1 OFF
