Headlights Not Flashing - OBD for GM

Do you own a Z-Flash OBD for GM and the headlights are not flashing?


Let's check a few things:

  1. Check to see which pattern you are on. It's possible you accidentally changed the pattern by tapping the Switch a second time after activating.

The Z-Flash OBD for GM features 3 flash patterns and Pattern 1 is what will flash everything including the headlights.

If you change to Pattern 2 or Pattern 3 these will not flash the headlights.

To change the pattern simply tap the button for a second while the Z-Flash is on. Repeat this until you see Headlights flash again or until you know you are on Pattern 1.

  1. If you are on Pattern 1 and the headlights are still not flashing. Please check to see if your vehicle's automatic headlights are on. If so, turn them off because this would probably override the Z-Flash for safety reasons.
