T-Harness Bypass Install

The T-Harness installation for Z-Flash OBD for Dodge/Jeep/RAM is for the following vehicles:


2018 RAM 1500

2019-2024 RAM 1500 Classic

2018-2024 RAM 2500-5500



  1. Referring to the diagram, the Z-Flash Module will plug into Port 1 on the T-Harness Bypass. Port 2 is an optional plug if you decide to use any other OBD-II device
  2. Plug Port 3 into the vehicle's OBD-II port
  3. Port 4 will plug into the Vehicle’s Green Starboard. The Green/Yellow Wire will normally plug into the Double Row Star Board on the row closest to the rear. It can be plugged anywhere along that row.

3a. The starboard is located under the driver-side dash, toward the far left kick panel area, mounted to the metal support bracket above the brake pedal.

  1. Pull back on the High Beam Lever for up to 5 seconds, or use the button that came with the Z-Flash module, and the unit will be ready for use.
