Bypass Module Install (Driver Side)

Vehicles that need Bypass Module for Driver Side:


2019-2024 Ram 1500 

2018-2024 Charger 

2018-2025 Wrangler JL

2020-2025 Jeep Gladiator

2018-2023 Chrysler 300 



Locate Security Gateway Module


  1. Remove the panel to access under the dash

  1. The Security Gateway Module is located under the driver-side dash, mounted above and slightly behind the OBD-II diagnostic port on the dash support bracket.


Bypass Module Installation


  • Remove the two plugs in the Security Gateway Module and plug them into the Z-Flash Bypass Module

Tip: You can remove the 3 screws and remove the entire Security Module, or reach your hand behind and remove the plugs from the module


Z-Flash Installation


  1. Now take the Z-Flash OBD and connect it to the vehicle’s OBD-II Port under the dash on the driver’s side
  2. Start the vehicle
  3. Let the module boot for 5 seconds
  4. Either pull back on the high beam lever for 5 seconds to activate, or you can use the button it comes with, plug into the side of the Z-Flash OBD
