* Prior to installation, disconnect the vehicle’s battery

  1. Locate the BCM for your vehicle on the passenger side. Remove weather stripping near the kick panel. Remove the BCM access cover
  2. Disconnect the J3 (Large Plug) on the BCM in the middle and the J7 (Smaller Plug) on the top right of the BCM (above fuses)
  3. Connect the male side of each T-Harness to the BCM and plug the factory plugs into the female side of the Z-Flash harness
  4. Connect the Large 22-Pin Molex Plug into the Z-Flash Module
  5. Once installed, you can reconnect the battery and activate the Z-Flash with the provided button or by pulling the High Beam Lever back for 5 seconds.

Important Notes: This Z-Flash has a total of 9 patterns. If you have an F-150 Lightning, it’s recommended to use Pattern 8 or 9

It is possible on some Ford trucks that the Low Beams and High Beams can't flash together. You may need to choose one or the other.

When the trucks Headlights, Turn Signals, and Brake Lights are being used they will override the Z-Flash as a safety feature.
