How To Install Z-Flash BCM 2300 for Ford


The Z-Flash will come with three parts:


x1 Large Harness

x1 Z-Flash Module

x1 Switch to activate the Z-Flash


Locate The BCM


Locate the Body Control Module (BCM) on the passenger side of the truck and remove the weather stripping near the kick panel. 


Remove the BCM access cover


Release (4) clips and remove the right-hand side lower cowl trim panel to expose the BCM


Installing the Z-Flash BCM 2300 Flasher



*Prior to installing, disconnect the vehicle’s battery


1 - Disconnect the Large J2 Plug on the BCM and plug it into the Z-Flash T-Harness. Then connect the Z-Flash Large Plug into the J2 slot upside down (opposite of the factory plug)


2 - Connect the required ground to the factory Ford ground location located on the right side of the Body Control Module (BCM), pointed by the arrow on the diagram in your instructions.



3 - Connect the Z-Flash module to the 22-pin connector, reconnect your battery, and your Z-Flash will be good to use! 


Important Notes:


The Z-Flash BCM 2300 Flasher has 8 Flash Patterns


Our plug installs upside down so the wires will be facing up. It's the opposite of how the factory plug is in.
